Eric McGough, CLU®, ChFC® Office ProfileAfter studying accounting and finance at the University of Washington, Eric's accepted a position as a staff accountant for a large international corporation. After about a year in the accounting career, he "felt like I was merely keeping score for the decisions that other people were making. I knew I wanted to have more of an impact on people and the financial decisions they made. And I wanted my career to make a difference." So, Eric started looking around at other optoins. Northwestern Mutual emerged as his first choice for a new career. And the more research he did, the lower his second and third choices moved down the list. He joined Northwestern Mutual Financial Network in December of 1990. After 16 years of building a financial security practice, Eric made the decision to share his experience with other financial representives and became the Managing Director or our Denver Tech Center / Greenwood Village location. Now, in addition to serving his existing clients, his responsibilities include selection, training, and developing new financial representatives.
